Joining St Stephen's Gardening Club is a fantastic way to meet likeminded people, improve your gardening skills and support a thriving community of plant lovers. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced gardener, you'll find plenty of opportunities to learn, share and grow.
If you would like to join the club, please complete the attached application form and return it to ststephensgardeningclub@gmail.com.
Our committee and volunteers keep the club running, organising events, maintaining the Trading Hut and ensuring everything runs smoothly. As our club has been thriving for many years, we want to ensure it continues to flourish for future generations - but we need new members to help make this happen.
Like many long-standing clubs, we face a challenge: many of our valued members have been involved for years, but we urgently need new people to step forward to help with the club's future. Without fresh energy and support, we risk losing a wonderful community that has been built over decades.
We are actively looking for volunteers to assist with:
Plant sales: Helping at our events and open garden days.
Trading Hut support: Assisting with the rota or helping unload deliveries.
Event organisation: Supporting outings, talks and the annual show.
Committee roles: Bringing in new ideas and ensuring the club continues to thrive.
Chairman Role
Graham Wilson, who has given incredible service to the club, has stepped down as Chairman. While he will remain on the committee, we are actively looking for a new Chairman to take on this important role. If you have the leadership skills and a passion for gardening, we'd love to hear from you.
